Clube de Minigolfe do Porto, Portugal

Our first visit to the wonderful city of Porto in Portugal. We take the Hop On, Hop Off,  City Sightseeing bus to get our bearings and alight at the seaside at Foz do Douro.

There are two Minigolf courses there called Clube de Minigolfe do Porto.

You can play the easy or the hard course. We played both and what a joy they were to play.

The courses are in a lovely park on the beachfront and shaded by trees

Here are some pictures with my comments and of course, the all important scores!

Security is taken seriously but this sign made us laugh.

Beautiful view of the sea while you play

Score cards and branded pencils, of course!

Here's Sunny Jim attacking a tricky spiral.

And at each hole, on both courses, were sweeping brushes to clear leaves and debris from the holes before you played. First time we'd ever seen that. What a brilliant idea.

Here's Sunny Jim again, making great strides.

And here's the entrance to the Minigolf showing you there are two courses to play.

1) Minigolf (hard, no standing on the holes).
2) Petergolf (easier but by no means without its challenges).

Scores on the doors, game 1, Minigolf (hard game). Sunny Jim 50, Flaming Nora 63.

Scores on the doors, game 2, Petergolf (easier game). Sunny Jim 45, Flaming Nora 64.

All in all, a massive amount of fun and a wonderful introduction to the magical city of Porto. Highly recommended.
