Mini Golf, Dunoon

On a week's holiday in Dunoon, our first visit to this gorgeous place. And of course we had to play the Mini Golf!

It was 18 holes for just £1.50 per adult, a bargain. Balls came in white only so there was no fighting for our favourite colours.

It's in a fantastic spot, on a piece of land jutting out over the Firth of Clyde. It's seen (much) better days but was still great to play.

The course was concrete and hard, which made the balls bounce all over and out of the holes. Slow and easy needed here.

Around the edges of the course was a mesh framework to stop your ball from rolling into the Clyde.

There are loads of seabirds around and the course was dotted with remains of shellfish which birds had been using the course to break open to eat. We've moved many things off a course before - dead leaves, stones, etc but never shellfish remains!

This was a fun and unpredictable course. No score cards were given so bring your own pen and paper.

Fun factor 8/10.

Final scores were Sunny Jim 60, Flaming Nora 76.
